スポーツドキュメンタリー「Get Sports」の放送は１９９８年４月５日、
ヤクルトスワローズのＩＤ野球を検証した企画から始まりました。
番組が目指したのは、アスリートたちの内面に迫り、競技人生を描き出すことと、
彼らの超一流の技術を分析して検証することでした。
そして、取材対象を限定することなく、プロ選手からアマチュア選手、
メジャー競技からマイナー競技まで真摯に取り組んできました。
また、アスリートの映像を華麗な楽曲に合わせて放送するという試みから始まった「G-graphic」（１人のアスリートに焦点を当てて紹介するコーナー）、「G-week」（１週間のスポーツを振り返るコーナー）も１回目から続く名物コーナーとなっています。
視聴者の皆様に支えられ番組は２０年目に突入しました。

2018年7月に競技麻雀の普及と発展を目的として発足したMリーグ。
2年目を迎える、今シーズンの開幕にあわせて地上波へも進出することが決定しました！
総勢29名のMリーガーによる熱い闘いは9月30日（月）にいよいよスタート。
本番組では、その週に行われたMリーグの模様を日曜深夜にまとめてふり返り、スポーツニュースさながらにお送りいたします！
メインMCを務めるのは、芸能界きっての麻雀好きとして知られる爆笑問題の田中裕二。
また、アシスタントMCにはSKE48麻雀クラブを立ち上げ、麻雀好きで有名な須田亜香里（SKE48）。さらに麻雀を愛して止まない芸能人をゲストに迎え、その週に行われた対局の見どころや、今後の展望などもご紹介。競技麻雀の面白さや魅力を丁寧に分かりやすく存分にお伝えし、Mリーグを盛り上げていきます。
