'Fragments from Heaven' tells the story of a Moroccan nomad, scientist and a businessman's search for valuable meteorite. Each, for different personal reasons, desperately hunts for the valuable pieces of debris in hope that in finding it their life can be changed forever.
Spiritual director Oliver Laxe (Mimosas) once again appears in front of the camera. In this debut long documentary by Anton Corbal, we see Laxe working on his new 16mm film while renovating his grandparents’ dilapidated home in the idyllic Spanish village of Vilela.
