第十五届亚运会闭幕式将于2006年12月15日当地时间19点(北京时间12月16日凌晨0点)在多哈哈利法体育场举行，广州市长从亚奥理事会主席法赫德亲王手中接过亚奥理事会会旗，下届亚运会四年后在广州市举行，中国女篮队员陈楠担任闭幕式中国代表团旗手，闭幕式上演广州10分钟表演。
